Does he still care ? please help?

my ex and i were going out for a month and 8 days. on the 8th day(mon.) and he lookd different so i asked him what was wrong & he said that he was just tired. so later on when we were walkin' to 3rd he seemed alot better and we told each other that we would met where we usually do after, h/e after that cl i didnt see for the rest of the day. when i got home i left him a mess.on his phone,email,and myspace about a hr later he wrote back on myspace saying that he didnt want to do this over the comp. but he thought wed be good as friends. see the prob. is that i still care for him with all my heart, and i want to know if he still does.? i think the reason that he broke up with me is because, we never did anything besides hug and they could only be for so long. (i feel badd cause i was always to shy to do anything eles and regret not doing anything). in cl he always tries to talk to me and in the hall he always looks at me and i just want to know what i should do,if he still cares?
