Can my birth control stop my period once its lightly started?

I'm on my sugar pill this week but im still taking my active pills that i've missed this month for 2 days now cuz dont wnat to start my period cuz my mannn came back from college and i really want to have ! soooo what should i do cause my period is lightly coming out =(
