Do you think Britney Spears should be considered a living legend?

Yes she is, she has sold over 120 million records [including singles], 80, making her the 8th best selling female artist in US history, and this has been in only 10 years. Even her fragrances have sold hundreds of millions, she is the richest woman under 30 in the entertainment industry. Compare those acheivements with some of the others [Aretha, Gloria, Madonna] and you'll notice she is right up to par with them. You may be surprised that Britney was the youngest female in music to obtain a star on the walk of fame, and Madonna has not gotten her star yet. Gloria has had a much longer career and has sold just about the same amount as Britney, if not less. If your going to point out anyone in that group, I think its ridiculous Ricky Martin was there.
