Whats wrong with my television?!?

You have a rear-projection TV and the bulb broke. You will need to buy a new one (a couple hundred dollars), and if you install it yourself, DO NOT touch the bulb, since oils on halogen bulbs can cause them to break. If it happens again within the next couple months, you might want to get the whole lamp looked at or replaced.
