Bedwetting and ual activity after paralysis?

Hi. My brother has had troubles getting a "hard on" and frequently wets his bed ever since he had a case of waist-down paralysis about 1 year ago. He is 21 years old. He got paralyzed a week or two after having the swine flu and having a possible allergic reaction to his tet shot that same week. Luckily doctor's treated him, and he recovered quickly in a phenomenal 3 to 4 days. However, his bladder (and I'm uming his nerves) have not, despite that he can walk normally and do most normal things. He had meningitis when he was like really little (less than 6 years old I think). He hasn't gotten a hard-on or *** in months and it's a tragedy to his social life in his mind. He also wets his bed and we have to buy a new one. We just thank God that he can at least pee again though. Anywho, does anyone have any advice or knowledge of what is going on or what to do? It's really stressful to him and I just can't bear to see him this way anymore. No rude comments please. Help?
